Fair-use policy.
Household family use
A SchoolCost account is intended for planning private school costs for your own household family. It is reasonable to compare schools, adjust pathways, update child details, and generate updated PDF reports as your family plan changes.
What is not fair use
You must not share one paid account across unrelated households, repeatedly generate plans for other families' children, use the planner for commercial or professional advice without written permission, run bulk or automated generation, or try to bypass access controls or reasonable usage limits.
Review process
We may review account-level generation patterns to protect fair access for families. The initial process is review-only. We do not automatically suspend accounts based on these signals.
Privacy
We do not store raw child names for fair-use review. We store limited audit metadata, including timestamps, child counts, school pathways, birth month/year summaries, and pseudonymous child identity fingerprints. More detail is available in our privacy summary.
